Teijin Frontier develops new multifilament yarn and fabric (TEIJIN) February, 2024

Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. has developed a multifilament yarn with unique cross-sectional surfaces. Each single yarn consists of polyester and nylon filaments, which are evenly blended with each other by the company’s own technology. The company uses the multifilament yarns to develop “MIXEL NP” fabrics with rich texture and high functionalities that polyester and nylon can bring. The rich coloured fabrics are chambray-like in appearance, bulky spun yarn-like textured, and quick drying with abrasion resistance.
