【Supercategory:6. Products Subcategory:6.1 New products of 2013

Teijin plans to enforce the production capacity of aramid fiber. Teijin expands the production capacity by 15 % by mid-2012 at Matuyama Plant (Ehime Prefecture) in order to ease the bottleneck of para-amid fiber “TECHNORA”. 25 % additional expansion is under review. The production capacity of para-amid fiber “Twaron” at Emmen Plant (The Netherlands) is being expanded, and the second step of this expansion is also under review. The next step expansion is estimated as ca. 4000 tons/year increase in production, and is planned to put in operation in 2014 when approved within the 2012 fiscal year.
