Toyobo to release formable nonwoven globally. November, 2022

Toyobo has developed a polyester spunbond nonwoven ESTOLE that is thermally formable under pressure. For providing formability, molecular orientation is controlled in order to prevent crystallisation. The nonwoven also has an excellent extensibility, which is much higher than those of Toyobo’s existing polyester spunbond nonwovens. With the excellent characteristics, it will be released globally and expected to be used for various products, for example, car insulators such as interior skin materials and ceiling materials.
