Asahi Kasei to use more recycled raw materials for their artificial leather products. November, 2022

Asahi Kasei has developed a new Dinamica product containing recycled raw materials. Dinamica is an artificial suede leather that has a unique three-layer structure comprised of super fine fibres and waterborne polyurethane, and is generally used for car interiors. For the new Dimamica, recycled raw materials used increases to 73%. The company will distribute the eco-friendly material for ceilings, seats, and door panels of cars, as there are growing trends of reducing environmental impact in a whole supply chain of car manufacturing.
