Toray’s new filtration membrane for food and beverage sectors to reduce CO2 emissions. June, 2022

Toray has developed a hollow fibre filtration membrane that can reduce CO2 emissions in concentration of foods and beverages. It can reduce CO2 emission by 80% or higher than thermal concentration used in food and beverage sectors. The company will aim to develop it to be used for other sectors too, for example, it can be used for purifying bioproducts such as enzymes and immune bodies.
