Teijin develops recycling technology for para-aramid filament yarn. January,2022

Teijin Aramid B.V. (Netherlands) has developed a recycling technology for Twaron filament yarn. In pilot production using the technology, the company has succeeded to produce recycled filament yarns from used end products. A product consisting of the recycled filament yarns and raw materials accounting for equally can perform more than 90% of a virgin product. The company demonstrates using products including recycled filament yarns accounting for 90%, aiming for improvement.
