Toyobo has developed a polyester nonwoven named AirriA for industrial use. By the company’s unique technology in which medical substances are strongly applied to nonwovens, it has anti-germ and anti-virus properties that remain effective for more than one year even outside. The company has started to develop it to be used for automobile interiors and personal protective equipment.
