Toyobo doubles the production of acrylate fiber. May, 2015

Toyobo increases the production of acrylate fiber to 1,000 tons/year (twofold of the present production) by 2016.
Acrylate fiber is used for clothes and bedding materials as a substitute of feather, and is expanding its demand because of rising prices of natural feather. Toyobo will accelerate the development of new products in parallel to this production expansion, and cope with the oversea demands.
