Application of new fiber products to the measurement field

We have challenged to develop the technology measure textile products using infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and THz spectroscopy. This technology makes it possible to identify what materials consist of textile products.
We have also tried to use a fiber optic strain sensor to measure simultaneously multiple vital sign signals such as pulse rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure with the pulse distortion signal of the wrist. Our goal is developing user friendly smart textile such as wristband type or shirt type with this sensor.
