TOYOBO acquires a mjor German company producing original yarns for airbags. June, 2014

　TOYOBO accelerates to expand the airbag business. TOYOBO acquires PHP, a German major original yarn producer for airbags ranked No. 2 in the world, in collaboration with a major polyester producer INDRAMA (Thai). By combing TOYOBO and PHP, the total production of original yarns for airbags will reach 50,000 tons/year, which will exceed that of INVISTA (a present No. 1 producer in the world)..
