UNITIKA expands the production capacity 5 times for the pilot plant of heat-resistant bio-plastics. June, 2014

　UNITIKA increases the production capacity 5 times to 500 tons/year for the pilot plant of plant-based heat-resistant resin “ZecoT”. The aim of the expansion of the plant scale is to establish the mass production technology for commercial production, and UNITIKA will invest a few million dollars to run the facility from this summer. UNITIKA also develops its applications for the electronic devices and automobile parts in parallel, and plans to foster “ZecoT” as its main products by starting its commercial production from 2015.
