Smart textile clothes using COCOMI (TOYOBO) September, 2019

　Toyobo has achieved development of smart textile clothes using film-shaped conductive material COCOMI. It obtains the wear’s data such as a heartbeat, an acceleration rate and a body surface temperature. Also, it can be a tool for health management or pet monitoring, or can be used while playing sports. For now, it is durable enough not to deteriorate after one hundred time machine washing. Toyobo aims to improve the durability before putting the clothes into the market in fiscal year 2019.
