【Supercategory:6. Products Subcategory:6.6 New products of 2018】
Mitsubishi Chemical developed a sound absorber XAI, which is made of acrylic nonwoven fabrics. Acrylic fibres used for XAI have a diameter of 3μm, and the absorbing performance is superior to that of conventional absorbing materials. If the noise has low frequencies around 500Hz, it is able to absorb the noise generating when travelling or starting up an engine for example.
