Toyobo aims to provide their polyester elastomer cushion material BREATHAIR with a couple of new applications. One is applying to elastic paving materials of sports facilities, jogging paths or nursing facilities. When moving on BREATHAIR, stress on users’ legs can be made less than when moving on conventional urethane materials. The other is applying to car sheets on which fans are installed. BREATHAIR wired in a three dimensional shape can easily provide air from fans and comfort while seated, while urethane materials require large-sized fans and a process of opening holes for air flow.
