Asahi Kasei focuses on their research of new high functional materials by using their cupro whose trade name is Bemberg. Cupro-made underclothes are gentle on skins if combined with super fine nylon fibres, and work as a deodoriser if combined with polyester staple fibres. As well as such materials for underclothes, they produce a new material for socks, which is designed to have deodorising ability and can be dyed into multiple colours. Asahi Kasei has obtained a sustainable certification, due to which their products are expected to reach more widespread use in Europe and other nations.
