【Supercategory:6. Products Subcategory:6.5 New products of 2017

Mitsubishi Chemical has developed a new hollow acrylic fiber by utilizing their special technique. It is the first success example in the world. Conventionally, an acrylic fiber has been considered to be difficult to hollow because it is formed by wet spinning. The hollow acrylic fiber has a smaller weight and keeps more warmth than a normal acrylic fiber. Its promotion has already started to be used in bedding application, instead of duvet. It would be also marketed as clothing materials like a down coat/parka.
