Seiren plans to expand their sales of electronics and other relevant products in a smartphone market. They have been producing electromagnetic shielding fibers, and marketing conductive fabrics, meshes and forms, for all of which conductive fibers and nonwovens are used. The conductive meshes and forms have been utilized for noise protection. Seiren aims to improve the noise protection performance, for strengthening their business in the smartphone market. They are making efforts to make the meshes and forms more sophisticated for adding high values to these products. As well as the noise protection, Seiren will employ their water repellent technique to a protection filter for a speaker. The technique is what Seiren has acquired through their experiences in developing their sportswear.
