Asahi Kasei will improve Bemberg cupro in order to expand its application. They are trying various marketing strategies and activities to find more new application of it, in addition to the main application such as liners and ethnic costumes. To newly entry into markets of such as underclothes and tights, its strength needs to be enhanced by utilizing high techniques of knitting and processing. Although Bemberg has not been applicable to these products so far, it will be used as a major composition of them. Another example of the newly developed application is a moisture-proof nonwoven. Its promotion has been already started to be applied to bedding or bedside furniture.
