Associate Professor MORI Masayuki

Summary of Activity

Diverse physical functions deteriorate with aging. This phenomenon is called senescence. Senescence is associated with various age-associated diseases, such as hypertension, cancer, and dementia. The long-term goal of research in our laboratory is to understand senescence of organism, and age-associated diseases.

Outlook for Research

Aging research has the potential not only to achieve a wonderful world where elderly people can enjoy taking an active part in society and enjoy a high quality of life, but also to solve various social problems.
