October 18 Wednesday - 21 Saturday, 2023

Welcome to 7th CBNM 2023 - NAGANO

We have organized the symposium on Challenges for Carbon-based Nanoporous Materials (CBNM) to have mutual stimulations which induce high quality research on adsorption, separation, and nanoporous materials, and interfaces through an interdisciplinary collaboration with active researchers. Optimum sized CBNM symposium can enhance fruitful discussions, strengthening mutual friendship for a creative science. Very fortunately excellent scientists will join the 7CBNM in Nagano and we should have the really nice symposium. The scientific program consists of invited oral papers and general poster papers. You could enjoy newly developing science at 7CBNM with outstanding scientists of different disciplines under full of greens and fresh air.

Arriving in Nagano

You can take a bullet train (Hokuriku-Shinkansen北陸新幹線) Tokyo-Nagano operated by Japan Railways JR. It takes 90-100 min. You can get a ticket at Narita airport and Tokyo Station on site. The Shinkansen has three types of Kagayaki (the fastest, all reserved seats), Hakutaka (3cars are non-reserved, medium rate) and Asama (three cars are non-reserved, local Shinkansen). Kagayaki and Hakutaka have the service to Kanazawa through Nagano; please take off at Nagano. We recommend you to buy the reserved ticket at Tokyo station or Narita airport in order to avoid the busy situation in non-reserved cars.
