We have conducted a research work on the advanced biopolymer chemistry for a novel utilization of biological resources. Here for an example, a biogenic fiber called 'byssus' of an aquatic organisms is focused, the biosynthesis system of which affords a new insight for a well designed self-assembling process of biopolymers.
