Mr. Tatsuya Ishikawa, a fourth-year program student, won a Poster Presentation Award at the 46th Summer Seminar by the Society of Fiber Science and Technology, Japan (SFSTJ) held in Fukui on July 19-21, 2016. This seminar comprises some special lectures and poster sessions. More than 200 participants attend each year and cutting-edge researches are introduced there.
Mr. Ishikawa received the prize for his poster presentation titled "Effect of needle-punching conditions on the mechanical properties of nonwoven fabrics with the evaluation of fiber orientation by X-ray micro computed tomography." Kudos to Mr. Ishikawa!
