The School of Medicine is located in Matsumoto and consists of two schools (the School of Medicine and the School of Health Sciences) and an affiliated hospital. It has more than 300 doctors, teaching staff, and 520 administrative staff. The aim of the course is to produce doctors and nurses who are well prepared to enter the profession with humanity. Throughout the course students have a wide range of learning opportunities in the university and hospital. Our graduates have made a large contribution toward improving medical case in the region and an increasing number of foreign students and researchers have joined, making for better international understanding.
