Classes for International Understanding
This course helps students who have intermediate Japanese ability and want to improve their level by learning Japanese culture, reading Japanese novels, etc.
Weoffer the following courses.
"Intermediate Japanese Language" class and "Japanese Society and People" class are telecast live to all campuses via satellite.
Other courses are available at Matsumoto Campus only.
A certificate will be given to students who complete 5 classes in this course.

Japanese Language Supplementary Course
This course is offered for students who don't have the time to take a full-time
Japanese Language Course. Students can choose the "Beginners Course"
or "Intermediate Course", or both. Each class meets 2 times per
week, with 2 required hours. These classes are available for all international
students and are offered at Nagano, Ueda, Minami-Minowa, and Matsumoto.
Japanese Language and Things Japanese
This course is open to Faculty students at the advanced level. This course
includes social and cultural studies of Japan. The students can take a
maximum of 16 credits. The classes are offered at the Matsumoto campus
only.
