Symposium on Advanced Materials and 3D Printing for Biomedical Applications/The 7th Institute for Biomedical Sciences International Symposium will be held.

Recently, 3D printing technology has made amazing leaps to enable the production of a variety of complicated and functional structures. This technology has been even applied for making body parts with living cells, thus opening whole new era in biomedicine.
The aims of this symposium are to share the most recent results regarding 3D bioprinting and to seek out additional applications in the fields of regenerative medicine. Prof. Gordon G. Wallace of the University of Wollongong has been leading the 3D bioprinting project in Australia. We are honored to have him and two of his research fellows here today at our symposium. From Shinshu University, Prof. Saito, Assist. Prof. Takaya, and Assist. Prof. Kadota will also present their recent results in biomedical sciences. Please participate actively in the symposium. I am sure you will enjoy learning about the cutting-edge technologies and newest findings in these fields, and hope that will be able to find new and exciting collaborative opportunities.
