AkimiFujita,PhDAssociate ProfessorAfter getting PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia University, I worked at UCSB and Max Planck, and after many years of parental break, I am back to work! My research interests are galaxy formation/evolution, galactic winds, and global education. In particular, high-mass stars end theirlives as they explode themselves as supernovae. We model the effects of repeated supernova explosions in galaxies driving bubbles and winds, using hydrodynamic simulations, and study their influence on galaxy formation and evolution. See the Japanese site for more information.
