Kobayashi LabOurlaboratoryisinterestedininteractiondesignforartifactsinthefieldofartificialintelligenceandagricultureusinginformationandcommunicationtechnology(ICT/IoTAgriculture).Interactiondesignisaboutdesigningprocessesandexchanginginformationbetweenusersandartifactssuchasrobotsandsoftwareagents,andthuswedevelopnoveldevicesbasedonouruserinterfacetheory.Wealsoapplyourstudytodevelopnovelgadgetsthatincreasestheefficiencyofagriculturaltasksasafieldinformatics.TherearemanydigitaldevicessuchassmartphonesandtabletPCs.Wedon’tfeelthatitisdifficulttousethem,notbecausetheyaretrulyintelligentanduseful,butbecausewehavethepowerfulabilitytoadapttonewthingswithoutrealizingit.Imaginethefutureinwhichsmartdeviceshelpusautonomouslybeforeweevenrequestthehelp.Ourlaboratoryistryingtobuildnewtheoriesanddevelopvarioussmartdevices.Kazuki Kobayashiis an associate professor at Shinshu University.
