The Japanese Alps is a field that these long-term crustal movements and geomorphological change has been revealed in detail. Then, we strongly believe that the Japanese Alps is a representative mountain field in geoscience as well as the Himalayas. We are going to contribute to human resources development based on this mountainous field.
