【Academic Research Promotion Organization】The center was founded with the aim of planning and implementing the university’s teaching license renewal course, which was developed in accordance with the new teaching license law regulations. The center also offers attractive courses that capitalize on the expertise of teachers from the School of General Education and those from eight all faculties across the university. Teacher’s Support Center for Teaching License RenewalThe Career Support Center provides opportunities for students to acquire “the ability to independently consider the way you live your life/work” and build a satisfying career as an independent member of society in their early years. In addition, it provides students with more practical and effective programs for successful job search activity.Career Support CenterStudent Advisory Center offers counseling and consulting services to all students with personal concerns and/or adjustment issues; university lives, studies, interpersonal relationships, mental health and so on. It also provides support to students with disabilities.We have full-time teachers (licensed counselors), public-health nurses/registered nurses, and administrative staff (student consultant). Our center cooperate with staffs of counseling offices in eight faculties.Student Advisory CenterThe Student Support Center aims to provide an integrated student support system that’s comprehensive to the students. Our goal is to have the staffs work together as one to educate and give guidance to the students for their college lives and support them in dealing with the social needs.

These activities help the center’s aim to contribute to the globalization of the local community and to promote international cooperation and collaborations.Global Education Center (GEC)The Research Center for Human and Environmental Sciences aims to not only facilitate the cooperation among the fields of gene research, animal experiments, instrumental analysis, and radioisotope application to support the research which need higher techniques with safety and efficiency but also cultivate individuals with the skills necessary to conduct research in all these fields. Research Center for Human and Environmental SciencesInterdisciplinary Cluster for Cutting Edge Research (ICCER) was established to focus our resources into Shinshu University’s unique research fields. We aim to boost up our research and technological innovation capability through raising the research level of younger professors and collaborating with worldwide distinguished researchers.
