Obtainable degree: Master (Science, Engineering, or Agriculture)Students, who attended the master's program for more than two years, acquired a total of more than 30 credits in required and elective courses, received the required research guidance, and passed the thesis evaluation and the final examination, are conferred a degree. For students with especially excellent study results, the program can be completed in one year.Coursework is arranged as follows. Students can take not only courses of their specialized fields but also that of other fields, which fosters a wider view, high research techniques, and the ability to think and analyze and makes them become more active researchers. According to the aim of the Graduate School of Science and Technology of Shinshu University, students, who acquired the knowledge and abilities described below and have the knowledge and abilities that fulfill the policy of degree conferral of the department, are conferred a degree.1. Wide insight and research ethics to advance science and technology as researchers or engineers for peaceful and sustainable social progress of mankind2. Advanced and intelligent foundation to sustain the environment-friendly, knowledge-based society in various ways3. Highly advanced expertise in their specialized fields 4.
