Kobayashi LabOurlaboratoryisinterestedininteractiondesignforartifactsinthefieldofartificialintelligenceandagricultureusinginformationandcommunicationtechnology(ICTAgriculture).Interactiondesignisaboutdesigningprocessesandexchanginginformationbetweenusersandartifactssuchasrobotsandsoftwareagents,andthuswedevelopnoveldevicesbasedonouruserinterfacetheory.Wealsoapplyourstudytodevelopnovelgadgetsthatincreasestheefficiencyofagriculturaltasks.TherearemanydigitaldevicessuchassmartphonesandtabletPCs.Wedon’tfeelthatitisdifficulttousethem,notbecausetheyaretrulyintelligentanduseful,butbecausewehavethepowerfulabilitytoadapttonewthingswithoutrealizingit.Imaginethefutureinwhichsmartdeviceshelpusautonomouslybeforeweevenrequestthehelp.Ourlaboratoryistryingtobuildnewtheoriesanddevelopvarioussmartdevices.Kazuki Kobayashiis an associate professor at Shinshu University.
