701信州大学についてProfile of Shinshu University 外国人留学生への日本語等に関する教育の実施や、就学上・生活上の指導助言、交換留学の推進などを通じて国際的に活躍可能な人材を育成しています。 また、信州大学として統一ある国際交流を目指し国際戦略の策定や国際化のための学内総合調整を行っています。 SUIC aims to foster individuals who can take active roles in the international arena. SUIC also works on internationalization strategies and coordination to promote Shinshu University’s internationalization in a unified way.Promoting International Exchange国際交流を積極的に推進○教育:初級から上級までの日本語指導、多文化理解○Education: Japanese language courses with levels ranging from elementary to advanced, as well as multi-cultural understanding.○留学生の生活支援、相談業務○Providing consultation and guidance for international students.○学生の海外留学の促進○Encouraging students’ study abroad experience.○教育と研究の国際化に関する学内調整○Coordinating internationalization of education and research.○地域の国際化貢献及び国際協力連携等の推進○Promoting internationalization of the Shinshu area and international cooperation activities.Main Responsibilities主な業務 日本語を全く勉強したことがない学生、勉強はしてきたけれどもまだ大学での授業・研究に支障がある学生を対象とした、約4ヶ月間の集中日本語教育です。正規生の卒業単位にはなりませんが、予備教育中の研究留学生や交換留学生が多く受講しています。○A, B, Cクラス:日本語レベル初級~中級の学生向けのコース。○日本理解:日本語レベル中上級の学生向けのコース。「Academic Japanese 1, 2」などの日本語科目のほか、 「日本社会と日本人」「武道・伝統文化実習」「アジアの中の日本」「多文化理解」などの科目もあります。 Shinshu University offers 4-month intensive courses designed for students who have no experience in learning Japanese, as well as courses for experienced learners who are having difficulties in their regular university classes or research work. As these are noncredit courses for regular students, most of the students who take these courses are research students in their preparatory education period or exchange students from Shinshu University’s partner universities. ○A, B, C class: courses for elementary, upper-elementary, and intermediate Japanese learners. ○Understanding Japan and the Japanese Language: a course for upper-intermediate Japanese learners. Students can choose from a variety of courses; not only Japanese language subjects such as “Academic Japanese 1 and 2” but also courses to learn cultural aspects of Japan such as “Japanese Society and People”, Students can also choose from courses such as “Japanese Martial Arts and Traditional Culture”, “Japan in Asia”, and “Multi-cultural Understanding”.Intensive Japanese Language Courses日本語研修コース国際交流センターShinshu University International Center(SUIC)センター概要Overview日本語等の教育Education
