30サイトウ・キネン・フェスティバル松本Saito Kinen Festival Matsumoto(C)細萱博信(C)大窪道治 松本市で20年余り続いている音楽祭で、総監督は小澤征爾さんが務めます。毎年8月から9月にかけて,オーケストラとオペラを中心に様々なコンサートが開かれます。 It is a classic music festival that has 20 years history, guided by Festival Director Seiji Ozawa, based around the two fundamentals of orchestral music and opera, various concerts are held in August and September.松本ぼんぼんMatsumoto Bon-Bon 毎年8月第1日曜日に松本で行う市民参加型の祭り。2010年は2万7000人が夜の街に繰り出しました。 A lot of citizens enjoy Matsumoto Bon-Bon on the first Sunday in August. 27,000 people had fun in the festival in 2010.諏訪湖祭湖上花火大会Lake Suwa Firework festival 毎年8月15日に開かれる花火大会は、打ち上げ総数4万発、観客50万人というビッグな規模です。 It is an enormous firework festival that 40,000 fireworks fascinate 500 thousands of people at Suwa Lake on 15th August every year.高遠城址公園さくら祭りCherry Blossom Festival in Takato 濃いピンク色が特徴の1500本余りのタカトウコヒガンザクラが、春の城趾を染めます。 More than 1,500 of Takato-Kohigan-Zakura, the well-known cherry for its vivid pink flowers, cover the site of the castle in spring.松本かえる祭りFrog Festival カエルをシンボルとする縄手通り。毎年6月には全国からカエル好きが集まり、子どもたちが遊べる手作りのゲームなど縁日の雰囲気で楽しいお祭りが開催されます。 A frog is the symbol of Nawate Street. Frog lovers gather from all over Japan in June and enjoy the fun of the fair with entertainments such as handmade games for children.氷彫フェスティバルIce Carving Festival 気温が氷点下になる松本の気候を利用して、1月後半に松本城二の丸庭園で氷の彫刻を競います。 Through the cold climate in winter, the ice carving festival is held in the garden of Matsumoto Castle in the latter part of January.信州・松本そば祭りShinshu Matsumoto Soba(buckwheat noodles) Festival 蕎麦の収穫時期に合わせて毎年10月、松本城を会場に開かれ、県内外から自慢のそば店が出店します。 In October, celebrating the harvest of buckwheat, many soba shops form in or out of Nagano gather at Matsumoto Castle and serve its proud soba.
