【Supercategory:7. DESCENTE SPORTS SCIENCE Subcategory:7.1 Vol.1】
The objects of this investigation are to grasp the present condition and transition of activity in the elementary school children by carrying about the walking step meter for 11 weeks. The subjects were 9 of the grade 5th and 2 of the grade 3rd in the elementary school boys and girls. The numbers of step in all members measured at first day were significant lower than the data of second day. Average number of steps in the over-weight children (above 143 of Rohrer Index) during fist week was few signicantly compared to the other children (108-129). Continuously, the numbers of step in all members increased significantly during ten weeks. These data suggest that use of the walking step meter heightened the elementary school children's will to move actively.
