Development of Objective Evaluation Equation for Comfortability of Water―Resistant and Vapor―Permeable Fabrics
【Supercategory:7. DESCENTE SPORTS SCIENCE Subcategory:7.16 Vol.16】
Clothing comfort could be roughly evaluated objectively using the data of fabric vapor-permeability by water method. If the increase of relative humidity within clothes was larger, the clothe was evaluated to be more uncomfortable. Clothing comfort could be estimated easily from the change of relative humidity within the clothes. Clothes made of fabrics with higher thermal insulation value were evaluated more uncomfortable in this experiment. Although the pulse rate increased by exercise, the relation with clothing comfort was small.
