Our research goal is to elucidate molecular basis of human diseases such as cancer and inflammation. To this end we are examining human pathological specimens as well as animal models using a variety of analytical techniques including morphology, biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, and immunology. We are also involved in diagnostic pathology service including histopathology, cytology, and autopsy.

Ongoing projects in our laboratory are as follows:
* Role of cell adhesion molecules expressed in cancer
* Role of immunity in glomerulonephirits
* Role of NLR in inflammation
* Role of O-glycan in kidney disease
