Summary of Activity

We study for developing novel diagnostic and therapeutic methods to solve clinical problems in our department. The main study themes are early diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and pathophysiological analysis by diagnostic imaging, developing novel methods in diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology (IVR), and radiation therapy. Every clinical study is conducted in cooperation with other clinical departments.

Research Subject

  • ・Early and differential diagnosis, pathophysiological analysis by diagnostic imaging
  • ・Development of novel methods in diagnostic imaging, IVR, and modality
  • ・Development of novel curative radiation therapy preserving organ functions

Outlook for Research

Early recognition by less-invasive examination; then, expecting complete cure without functional loss by less-invasive therapy. Our studies in radiology department will promote bright future in patient-friendly medical care.
