Our lab has been conducting pioneering works on avian developmental genetics
by use of the chimeras.
The chimeras are generated by blastoderm or PGCs. These approaches should
be one of the most powerful tools for establishment of ESCs, production
of transgenic bird, conservation of rare birds and regenaration of organs.
