信州大学環境方針
基本理念
信州大学は、かけがえのない地球環境を守るため、本学における教育・研究、地域貢献、国際交流など、あらゆる活動を通して、人と自然が調和した、持続可能な社会の実現に貢献します。
基本方針
信州大学は、この基本理念に基づき、国内外の機関・団体等とも連携を図りつつ、本学の教職員・学生ならびに本学にかかわるすべての人々との協力のもと、以下の取組を推し進めます。
- 豊かな自然に恵まれた信州に立地する大学としての特色を生かしつつ、環境に関する教育・研究活動を積極的に進めるとともに、その成果を国内外に発信します。
- 教育・研究、地域貢献、国際交流など、あらゆる活動を通じて、本学にふさわしい環境マインドを持った人材を育成します。
- 環境にかかわる法令を遵守するとともに、環境マネジメントシステムの継続的改善を図り、環境負荷の低減と環境汚染の予防に努めます。
この基本方針は文書化し、本学の教職員・学生ならびに本学にかかわるすべての人々に対して周知するとともに、一般にも公開します。
Shinshu University Environmental Policy
Basic Philosophy
To protect our precious environment, Shinshu University vows to contribute through its education, research, local community engagement, international exchanges and various other activities to the creation of a sustainable society in which people live in harmony with nature.
Basic Policy
In line with this basic philosophy, Shinshu University will work with organizations both in Japan and overseas, and with its faculty members, administrative staff, students and all other persons connected with it to implement the following initiatives.
- Leverage the attributes of our location in the Shinshu region with its abundant nature to actively conduct educational and research activities related to the environment and disseminate the results of these efforts both in Japan and overseas.
- Nurture people with an eco-mind befitting our university through education, research, local community engagement, international exchanges and other activities.
- Comply with laws and regulations related to the environment, and endeavor to prevent environmental pollution and reduce environmental impacts by practicing continuous improvement based on our environmental management system.
We will put this basic policy in writing, publish it broadly, and ensure that it is observed by our faculty members, administrative staff, students and all other persons connected with our university.
