Mechanical Systems Engineering

We educate technicians with highly specialized research and development skills in mechatronics, regulation, materials, energy, computers and electronics etc with the industrial techniques necessary for the 21st century. We produce engineers who will lead in the creation of new machinery in harmony with man and the environment, who have the skills necessary to readily adapt to the needs in society.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Through cooperation and exchange with overseas research institutes in the fields of Electrical Power Engineering, IT technology and Electronics, we educate researchers who will lead the cutting edge of science technology development in our country.

Architecture and Civil Engineering

To create a safe and comfortable society living in harmony with the environment we aim to educate individuals skilled in comprehensive construction, able to functionally combine diverse structures.

Chemistry and Material Engineering

Through the research and development of high value added materials and new materials as chemical compounds, we aim to educate skilled technicians and researchers with specialist knowledge, able to flexibly apply this to the current cutting edge level of materials and compounds.

Applied Biology

To fully make use of the wide ranging features that all living creatures have, we conduct diversified research on life forms, from their genes to cells, to ecology and the environment.

Textile System Engineering

With the fields of Textile Science, Material Science, Instrumentation, Control Engineering and IT Technology as our base, we conduct research and education into processing technology, the automatic instrumentation of industrial products and their assessment, to develop high value-added leading textile materials.

Materials Chemistry

We aim to educate highly skilled specialists and researchers who will develop new generation materials in areas such as cutting edge textiles, molecular and electronics engineering, as well as medical materials.

Functional Machinery and Mechanics

We aim to educate technicians and researchers who will create new machines to make full use of Intelligence and Information technology. We will also work toward the development of machines with low impact on both human life and the environment, using the research and adaptation of the best "function" example we have, living creatures and ecology.

Fine Materials Engineering

Finding ways to adapt new materials and methods in production processes to serve 21st century resources, energy and the world environmental crisis and help create a sustainable society. We aim to educate researchers and technicians with a comprehensive understanding that covers materials development to system instrumentation.

Functional Polymer Science

We conduct research into the fundamentals and adaptation of all types and functions of polymer and synthetic polymer molecules. We aim to educate highly skilled technicians who can provide new, cutting edge materials in areas such as the environment, resources, electronic devices and soft materials.

Kansei Engineering

We conduct research into the creation of "sensitivity value" that peoples minds will take pleasure in. Through the study of comprehensive Sensibility Science that includes sense, psychology, information and materials, we aim to educate individuals who can plan high grade products, design, production and distribution.
