1.Entrance fees should be paid by the specified date at the Accounting Section of your Faculty.
2.Tuition is paid through a bank account transfer system (direct debit from your bank account). Students who do not pay their tuition by the specified date will be removed from the register.
*International students on Japanese Government (MONBUKAGAKUSHO) scholarships are exempt from entrance and tuition fees.
*The entrance fee and tuition fees are subject to change. Shinshu University will apply revised fee amounts to students when it occurs.
Tuition Exemption
Undergraduates and graduate students with excellent academic records, and who are in need of financial assistance, are eligible to be considered for exemptions from between half the tuition fee and the whole amount. Applications for tuition exemption are evaluated by the University. The application process takes place each semester, so please check the deadline on the notice boards and on the University website under "Campus Information".
International students may not always be successful in their applications for tuition exemption. Therefore, students should prepare funds for studying in Japan and manage their money carefully.
Tuition exemption is not granted to research students, auditing students or credited auditors.
